Overview

Director, Forensic Technology Services (eDiscovery Consulting) at Alvarez & Marsal. This role acts as a practice leader and primary client contact to provide eDiscovery support leveraging a broad range of technologies and industry-leading practices to uncover and manage data-based evidence and intelligence across various contentious legal and regulatory situations. You will be responsible for engagement quality and success, guiding clients toward best practices in meeting their eDiscovery support needs. Responsibilities

Serve as the primary point of client contact in the execution of projects involving identification, collection, processing, review, and production of electronically stored data (ESI) relevant to litigation or investigations. Collaborate with clients to implement efficient workflows, identify and mitigate risk, apply quality control, address technical challenges to ensure ESI is preserved, discoverable, viewable and useful. Lead a broad team of junior professionals supporting each phase of delivery. Proactively communicate with clients and team members about commitments, deadlines, status updates, and delivery issues or challenges. Maintain consistent communication and coordination with clients and team members to ensure timely and cost-efficient delivery of required support tasks and project objectives. Manage end-to-end project planning, resourcing, organizing, and staff management on active engagements. Lead external and internal meetings to review work results and ensure eDiscovery best practices are followed for accurate and reliable analysis through quality checks. Show proven expertise with eDiscovery tools such as Relativity and Brainspace. Prepare and update documentation of progress and milestones, including summaries of team delivery efforts, tracking, and reporting. Identify opportunities for process improvement and streamlining. Qualifications

Core Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university; preferred fields include computer science, information management, data science, or related areas. At least 10 years of relevant professional experience. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to synthesize information from multiple sources and draw evidence-based conclusions. Excellent project management and organizational skills with ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Exceptional client service and relationship-building skills. Excellent written and verbal communications skills. Fast learner, eager to learn new technologies in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Attributes:

Experience with industry-standard review and production tools (Relativity, Reveal, Nuix, Brainspace, etc.). Extensive experience in eDiscovery methodology and client service delivery (7+ years). Strong understanding of the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM). Experience with Relativity Server and Relativity One as an advanced user and database administrator. Experience with document review management is beneficial. J.D. preferred but not required. Job Details
