2026 - Food Service Director - ROCKSTAR for SUMMER 2026 (Seasonal Relocation Job is not Local) at Wolfoods, Inc. Wolfoods operates summer camp kitchens across the country between May - September. This is a hands-on and demanding leadership role requiring on-site residence for the term of the contract. All lead staff live on site at the job location with room, board, and travel expense assistance provided. Responsibilities
Provide excellent guest service in an efficient manner to campers, staff, and parents. Develop effective staff schedules based on business levels and budget guidelines; coordinate side work for personnel. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the Dining Hall per sanitation standards; ensure uniform appearance. Be present on the dining floor during meal periods to supervise operations and food presentation. Train and develop all Front-of-House dining personnel; provide ongoing feedback on standards and performance. Communicate daily with the Head Chef and Camp Directors about all dining hall operations. Interact with diners for feedback and ensure the dining hall is prepared 15 minutes before service. Implement a checklist system to facilitate daily dining hall operations. Adhere to Wolfoods environmental initiatives to minimize waste and conserve resources. Maintain knowledge of all menus and specifications; ensure production timing, quantity, and quality meet standards. Lead in planning, scheduling, directing, and training; manage payroll and respond to camp leadership concerns. Manage inventory, place orders, and control food costs with a focus on safety and sanitation. Ensure safety regulations are followed and food safety practices are understood for special diets and allergies. Collaborate with the kitchen team on menu planning and recipe development; support events and special requests. Act as Front of House supervisor when necessary and maintain strong client relations with campers, staff, and parents. Qualifications & Experience
4+ years of Commercial Kitchen Lead Experience. Minimum three professional references required with application submission. ServSafe Manager Certification and ServSafe Allergens Certification (Company Sponsored). Ability to lead a team, work under pressure, and self-motivate; high level computer literacy. Must live on-site in a rural setting; lengthy work weeks (minimum 6 days, ~70 hours). Ability to stand for long periods, lift/carry up to 50 pounds, and perform in varied temperatures. Knowledge of health department standards and cross-contamination prevention. Experience with institutional and batch cooking; capable of cooking from scratch. Relocation for the summer season in a rustic living environment is required. Ideal Candidates
