We are looking for a Solution Consultant who can excel in and add expertise to a team accelerating AI solutions across clinical trial strategy, planning and execution. This role is for you if you are versatile, adaptive, and eager to apply AI in clinical trial planning, feasibility, and patient recruitment to help clients meet business goals using Citeline’s AI-enabled solutions and services. You’ll work with Sales, Implementation and Product to deliver value through AI-enabled solutions focused on accelerating trial timelines and improving patient engagement.

Responsibilities

Provide subject matter expertise on client calls to demonstrate the value of Citeline Clinical Solutions, including platform, AI analytics, services and Real World Data offerings across the clinical lifecycle (planning, feasibility, patient engagement and recruitment).

Bring technical and business credibility to AI conversations with clients, translating complex AI concepts into clear, value-driven narratives aligned to clinical trial objectives.

Identify and qualify AI use cases across clinical trial planning, feasibility, and recruitment; collaborate with Product to validate and formalize them into the roadmap.

Provide AI solutioning support on strategic customer engagements to develop custom instances and bespoke solutions leveraging Citeline data assets, AI models, products and services.

Act as a subject matter expert in Citeline’s AI solutions, including understanding the data powering them, development methodologies, and validation processes.

Lead client discovery sessions to uncover unmet needs and propose AI-enabled solutions that accelerate timelines and improve patient engagement.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to pilot and refine AI solutions, ensuring clinical relevance, technical feasibility, and measurable impact.

Collaborate with and support Sales across all account segments (new logos, existing accounts from small biotech to large pharma).

Contribute to achieving sales targets and independently manage solution/technical qualification with compelling proposals.

Create and present analyses of Citeline Connect solutions to customers as part of consultative sales and value analysis.

Support pre-sales activities, including building business cases, executive summaries, case studies, pricing discussions, and project timelines; create proposals and contracts in collaboration with Sales.

Partner with Product Management and Sales to feedback client insights and drive continuous improvements in Citeline AI offerings for BioPharma.

Coordinate internally with the implementation team for pre-sales scoping and RFI/RFP processes.

Test new clinical offerings with potential clients and share feedback to drive innovation and product-market fit.

Utilize Citeline’s Salesforce CRM to document all pre-sales activities.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in clinical trial relevant roles in CROs, trial recruitment, consulting, or biopharma.

Passion for healthcare, life sciences, data/analytics, AI and technology.

Proven experience identifying AI use cases in clinical or life sciences settings and supporting them through to proof-of-concept or pilot.

Strong understanding of data science principles (machine learning, NLP, predictive analytics) with ability to translate into business value.

Hands-on experience with AI-powered platforms or tools in healthcare or clinical trials.

Ability to assess AI model performance, data quality and validation approaches for clinical/regulatory robustness.

Track record collaborating with product and engineering to shape AI solutions based on client needs and market trends.

Working knowledge of the global pharmaceutical industry, particularly Clinical Trial Recruitment.

Strong technical presentation skills with experience demonstrating solutions to clinical operations and similar clients in pharma/biotech.

Experience collaborating with commercial teams and other internal departments; able to engage senior stakeholders credibly.

Curiosity to learn the pharma industry and products and stay updated on AI developments for credible client conversations.

Ability to articulate complex solutions clearly, with excellent verbal and written communication and customer-facing presentation skills.

Customer-oriented, results-driven, and willing to travel as needed.

Compensation The expected base salary for this position ranges from $130,000 to $160,000. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Salary offers are based on relevant skills, training, experience, education, and applicable licensure or certifications. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
