Your responsibilities will include assisting residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and serving meals while ensuring their comfort and dignity. You will work under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN) and will be a vital member of the nursing team. Your role will involve: Delivering appropriate care based on residents' physical and psychological needs as outlined in their care plans. Assisting with basic healthcare needs, documenting resident interactions, and keeping the nursing team informed about any changes in health or behavior. Providing housekeeping services to maintain a clean living environment for residents. Encouraging residents to engage in wellness and recreational programs. Completing training and maintaining competencies in line with department requirements. Qualifications To join our team, you should have: A high school diploma or GED (preferred but not required). A minimum age of 16. Prior experience in long-term care is beneficial. A Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification or the ability to obtain it within four months of your start date. A commitment to continuous education and competency within your role.
