You will provide resident-centered nursing care and assistance with daily living activities under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN). You are expected to understand and deliver age-appropriate care in line with the residents' physical and psychological needs as outlined in the care plan. Your responsibilities will include: Providing assistance with basic health care needs, including bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, and recording vital signs. Supporting residents with mobility, including transferring, repositioning, and walking while using proper techniques and equipment. Assisting with dining experiences and ensuring residents receive appropriate meals and hydration. Documenting interactions and care outcomes, and communicating any changes to the charge nurse. Maintaining cleanliness in living areas and assisting with laundry services. Encouraging residents to participate in wellness and recreational programs. Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required. Minimum age of 16 years. Prior experience in long-term care is preferred, but not required. Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required or must be enrolled in training to obtain certification. Completing yearly competency testing and maintaining continuing education credits (minimum of 12 hours annually).
