Responsibilities

Deliver sales performance, brand KPIs, financial targets, and marketing objectives to meet or exceed targets. Create pre-call plans using SMART objectives and execute post-call evaluation to continuously improve sales performance. Handle objections and concerns to gain action from calls. Aim to serve customer needs and expectations to build trusted relationships and achieve win-win agreements between AbbVie and customers. Develop and execute a call plan that achieves set call metrics and optimizes coverage and frequency to key customers to maximize access and sales opportunities. Build understanding of customer needs, territory landscape, competitors, market dynamics, accounts, disease areas, product and sales expertise; share market intelligence with in-field team, brand team and sales manager to align and optimize strategy. Differentiate AbbVie’s value proposition with health providers and identify disease state experts and speakers to maximize brand performance. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy or business-related field preferred or relevant equivalent industry experience; required Relevant industry experience in lieu of a bachelor’s degree: at least five (5) years, with three (3) or more years in the pharmaceutical/health/science industry preferred; high school diploma/GED required Strong scientific, therapeutic, product and competitive knowledge; operates effectively in a matrix environment; demonstrates strategic and critical thinking Proven sales success and strong presentation skills; ability to adapt selling approaches to customer style Influences others and is viewed as a credible resource; builds collaborative partnerships with district colleagues and matrix teams Recognized for leadership and ability to assume increased responsibility; uses findings to inform sales strategies Preferred: experience in sales within therapeutic areas; English proficiency for all non-English speaking contexts Must satisfy HCIR credentialing requirements to gain access to facilities in the assigned territory; good standing or eligibility to obtain these credentials HCIR credentialing may include background checks, drug screens, immunizations, fingerprinting, and state/city licenses; AbbVie provides resources to assist Additional Information
