Phlebotomist Patient Services Representative II (PSR II)

provides direct patient interaction, performing blood collections with precision and professionalism. This role ensures accurate specimen preparation for laboratory testing, maintains compliance with safety protocols, and upholds patient trust by fostering a supportive, professional environment.

Key Responsibilities

Perform venipuncture, capillary, pediatric, and geriatric collections with accuracy and care. Verify patient demographic information and confirm proper specimen labeling in patient's presence. Maintain required records and documentation of patient services. Ensure a safe and professional environment for patients and staff. Demonstrate

customer-focused service excellence

and confidentiality. Travel to and cover

multiple service centers or physician offices

as required. Support company initiatives, policies, and Everyday Excellence Guiding Principles. Required Experience

At least

3 years of phlebotomy experience , including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary. 2 years in a

Patient Service Center

environment preferred. Customer service background in healthcare, retail, or service environments. Keyboard/data entry experience. Required Education

High School Diploma or equivalent (required). Medical Assistant or Paramedic training preferred. Phlebotomy certification preferred (mandatory only in CA, NV, WA). Required Skills

Strong proficiency in

phlebotomy across diverse patient populations . Ability to

work independently

in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to support rotating schedules, weekends, and holidays. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (if travel required). Preferred Skills

Familiarity with compliance requirements and lab systems. Knowledge of infection control standards. Additional Skills

Strong interpersonal and communication abilities. Organizational commitment and ability to adapt to change. Effective multitasking in high-volume settings. Benefits
