The

Phlebotomist Patient Services Representative III - Floater (PSR III)

is the face of our diagnostic services, providing exceptional patient care while performing

blood collection, specimen preparation, and processing . This position requires a skilled, adaptable professional capable of floating across multiple locations to ensure coverage and continuity of care. The PSR III must deliver accurate, efficient work while maintaining

patient trust, confidentiality, and compliance

with all safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Perform

venipuncture, capillary, pediatric, and geriatric specimen collections . Float between multiple

Patient Service Centers (PSCs)

or in-office phlebotomy locations. Verify patient demographics, obtain signatures, and ensure accurate labeling. Maintain accurate records and documentation of all collections. Ensure a safe and professional environment, adhering to company policies. Provide excellent

customer service , building trust with patients and providers. Travel to cover multiple locations with minimal notice. Support high-volume collections in a fast-paced clinical setting. Required Experience

Minimum

3 years phlebotomy experience

(including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary). At least

2 years in a Patient Service Center environment

preferred. Customer service or retail/service experience preferred. Strong data entry and keyboarding skills required. Required Skills

Advanced phlebotomy skills

across all age groups. Ability to work independently and travel between sites. Strong organizational and time management abilities. Superior customer focus and communication skills. Preferred Skills

Flexibility for weekends, holidays, and on-call rotations. Knowledge of company systems and healthcare compliance standards. Ability to handle multiple priorities in high-volume settings. Licensure & Certifications

High school diploma or equivalent (required). Medical assistant or paramedic training (preferred). Phlebotomy certification preferred;

required in California, Nevada, Washington
