Financial Center Consultant II (Banker) - Hulen Exciting Career Opportunity: Financial Center Consultant II at our EECU Hulen Financial Center. EECU is looking for a dynamic Financial Center Consultant II who brings energy, enthusiasm, and expertise to every member interaction. In this role, you'll be the driving force behind exceptional service, helping members discover the right products and solutions for their financial goals. From welcoming members as the first point of contact to guiding them through new accounts and loan production, you'll play a vital role in building lifelong relationships. This position will rotate within the branch to support members with products and services as needed and may involve advising, suggestive selling, and setting up new products. The Financial Center Consultant II will conduct consultative selling sessions, perform financial profiles to identify relationship expansion opportunities, and utilize management-provided reports. Primarily, this role will focus on platform functions, opening new accounts, and loan production. We are looking for someone who represents EECU with pride and finds satisfaction in developing lifelong members through sincere relationships. Responsibilities
Welcome members and serve as the first point of contact, advising, suggesting products, and setting up new accounts. Conduct consultative selling sessions and perform financial profiles to identify relationship expansion opportunities. Utilize indirect cross-selling reports and internal opportunity reports provided by management. Spend time performing platform functions, opening new accounts, and loan production. Provide excellent member experiences and deliver complete service and sales to exceed monthly sales goals. Perform a broad variety of member service functions such as opening business and consumer loans/accounts, solving operational issues, and providing teller functions. Proactively initiate and support marketing initiatives within the branch. Build exceptional rapport with members by delivering excellence in service. Provide lobby coverage, greet all members, answer calls, and direct members to appropriate staff. Adhere to applicable laws and comply with the Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering, and other regulatory requirements. Qualifications
One year minimum experience in a retail or financial environment requiring high service levels and rapport with customers. Retail operations knowledge (platform and teller operations preferred). Strong communication skills for interactions with members. High level of ownership, accountability, and professionalism. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks daily. Good listening, problem-solving, and empathetic abilities. Relevant computer skills, solid math, and written communication skills. College degree preferred. Bilingual required — able to speak, read, and write Spanish. Availability during hours: 8:00am–6:15pm Monday–Friday and 8:45am–1:15pm Saturdays. Compliance & Benefits
