Act as the single point of contact (SPOC) and manage a portfolio of non-performing assets to contact, negotiate, and complete loss mitigation options to minimize foreclosure losses. Contribute to department success by understanding performance measurements and driving positive results. Meet monthly individual and team goals and key performance indicators. Handle a portfolio of mortgage products that are 90+ days delinquent or requested for loss mitigation, following investor, departmental, and legal guidelines; minimize foreclosure losses through loss mitigation options. Receive inbound calls and make outbound calls to customers, attorneys, realtors, and other authorized parties; educate on loss mitigation options to resolve delinquencies. Discuss customers’ requirements for loan modifications, short sales, deeds in lieu, cash-for-keys, and other loss mitigation options. Analyze financial situations and initiate appropriate loss mitigation tools for each borrower. Conduct light skip-tracing activities and review title searches to ensure no title issues threaten investor liens. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures; review and update daily reports and accounts. Qualifications
Excellent attention to detail and ability to multi-task; consistently meet deadlines. Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to work in a team environment and use good judgment. Experience in loss mitigation; knowledge of GSE loss mitigation (e.g., FHLMC and FNMA) preferred. Proficient with Microsoft Office; experience with MSP, Black Knight/LPS, and Fiserv preferred. Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree preferred. Two to four years of related experience and/or training required. Travel:
