Overview

Clinician I (Associate) opportunity with La Selva Group’s Functional Neurological Disorder Tract (FND Track). FND is characterized by neurological symptoms incompatible with established neurological or medical illness. The FND Track is a state-of-the-art treatment program designed for the unique needs of clients with FND. Therapists join a multidisciplinary team and manage a small caseload providing 1:1 therapy weekly, assessments, coordinating admissions, training staff, and working with standardized FND Curriculum. Sign-On Bonus : $3,000.00 total for Clinician I (Associate), paid in two installments — $1,500 after 6 months and $1,500 after 12 months. Valid until Dec 31, 2025. Work Schedule : 32-40 hours/week, Mon - Fri business hours. Responsibilities

Provide clinical leadership in comprehensive assessments, treatment plans, case conferences, and strategic interventions to ensure quality service delivery. Act as a lead member of the treatment team; participate in crisis intervention; provide clinical supervision and direct services as assigned and within scope of practice. Provide orientation and coordination within the work team to ensure service delivery meets client, family, and payor needs with sound clinical judgment. Serve as shift leader for a designated shift; lead the team and program for that shift. Provide clinical leadership, training, and guidance to staff, interns, and volunteers within agency standards and policies. Offer appropriate consultation and back-up to support staff in responding to client crises. Develop, review, evaluate, and/or sign documentation requiring LPHA signature; collaborate with Benefits Specialists and Intake Specialists; engage insurance providers to obtain treatment authorization. Provide individual and group treatment and support to clients and families to improve physical and mental health care skills. Conduct client interviews, complete strengths assessments and needs analyses, and develop goal-oriented, time-limited treatment plans in cooperation with clients/families. Facilitate and/or lead rehabilitation groups; develop curriculums; assist clients in understanding problems and developing plans to resolve them. Maintain regular communication with families and third parties; coordinate needed services and make referrals to meet client and family needs. Develop discharge and follow-up treatment planning; complete comprehensive reassessments prior to expiration of current treatment plans. Maintain timely, accurate clinical records and produce clear reports in accordance with agency, payor, and regulatory requirements. Provide assessment and intervention during client crises and assist Program Manager in regulatory and CARF compliance as required. Provide transportation for clients and program staff as needed; participate in on-call coverage and after-hours rotation; perform First Aid in emergency situations when assigned to residential facilities. Qualifications

Masters degree in a mental health field; one year experience in human services (E); Doctorate/licensing may be substituted where appropriate (D). Eligibility for waiver/registration with the appropriate California licensing boards (AMFT/ACSW/APCC or equivalent) and for a waiver within six months of hire (E). First Aid Certification or successful completion within 30 days of hire if assigned to residential facilities (E). Compliance with continuing education requirements; minimum 20 hours of related professional training for residential facilities (E). Typing speed of 30 net wpm (E); 40 wpm (D); computer literacy and MS Office proficiency (E) and familiarity with UNIX-based databases (D). Proven ability to work independently and in small teams; strong organizational skills; effective verbal and written communication; ability to manage a caseload and multiple tasks (E). Ability to work with a diverse client population and collaborate with professionals, families, and payors (E). Special requirements: criminal records clearance per Title XXII regulations; valid California drivers license, reliable vehicle, proof of auto liability insurance, and clean DMV record (E). We offer a competitive salary and a defined contribution plan up to $14,580 per year (prorated for part-time); unused funds may be paid as taxable earnings. Retirement plan with employer match starting at 4% after one year. Generous paid time off: vacation up to 25 days/year, 6 days of sick time/year, and 12 paid holidays. Union pay structure for Clinician I: current Step 1 rate at $40.55/hr; Step 6 at $44.77/hr; six-step progression per Collective Bargaining Agreement with SEIU Local 521. Shift differentials for eligible 24-hour programs: 6% overnight, 4.5% evening, 4.5% weekend shifts, with only the highest applicable differential paid at a time. Other Information
