Content Marketing Manager (Remote US) – Future Opening at Directive Consulting. This role is a crucial, client-facing position focused on day-to-day client deliverables, creating and managing custom client strategies, and communicating with both clients and internal stakeholders. Internally, this role is titled Account Strategist, Content & SEO. What You'll Do

Strategic Excellence and Best Practices: Create custom strategies and implement best practices to achieve NSMs. Build initial client strategy from project phases and optimize strategies over the client lifecycle based on goals, ongoing campaigns, and historical performance. Collaboration: Work closely with the Associate Director when roadblocks arise and with content writers and designers to deliver content campaigns that meet client standards. Creative Development: Craft creative briefs and content campaigns using competitor and audience insights; apply best practices such as LTV:CAC modeling, Customer Generation, Share of SERP, and Content Production. Goal Setting: Use available data to set client goals, with approval from the Associate Director in meetings. Data Sources: Google Analytics, CRM data, SEMRush, and Ahrefs reporting; all goals require AsD approval before presenting to clients. Project Management: Ensure strategy execution; use Asana; delegate tasks to team members and clients; coordinate with Project Managers when present to meet deadlines. Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with clients, internal leadership, and other teams to ensure timely delivery and quality, maintaining proactive communication about timelines and progress. Reporting: Regularly report progress and impact to clients (bi-weekly meetings, monthly, quarterly; include NSM progress and deliverables); prepare 2 bi-annual business reviews. What You'll Bring

Proven track record in SEO principles and content strategy, including keyword research, on-page optimization, and link building. Analytical capability to analyze website traffic and SEO metrics using tools like Google Analytics. Strong communication skills with client-facing experience and stakeholder management. Familiarity with tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMRush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog. Excellent organizational, project, and time management skills. Genuine enthusiasm for digital marketing, SEO, and content. Agency experience required; B2B tech and/or SaaS experience preferred. Goals

NSM Attainment: 100% MRR Retention: 96% CSAT > 4.2 Upsells / Cross-sells / Referrals Strategies for growth, including expanding services or increasing budgets; ask for referrals at key moments (e.g., new job for a point of contact). Client CSAT contributions and ongoing value delivery. What We Offer
