Content Strategist (Remote US) - Future Opening

This role is client-facing and focused on enterprise clients, with a deep understanding of our service lines and how they interact to form holistic marketing strategies. Please note: internally, this role is titled Account Strategist, Content & SEO. What You'll Do
Strategic Excellence and Best Practices: Create custom strategies and implement best practices to achieve NSMs. Develop initial client strategy at project phase and continuously optimize based on goals, campaigns, historical performance, and Directive best practices. Collaboration: Work closely with the Associate Director (AsD) to address roadblocks and achieve goals. Craft creative briefs and content campaigns informed by competitor and audience insights. Content and SEO Practices: Apply LTV:CAC modeling, Customer Generation, Share of SERP, and Content Production to improve outcomes. Goal Setting: Use data to set client goals, reviewed and approved with the AsD; present goals to clients with the AsD in attendance. Data sources include Google Analytics, CRM data, SEMRush, and Ahrefs. Project Management: Ensure strategy execution, delegating tasks via Asana, coordinating with Specialists and clients, and ensuring timely completion. Partner with Project Managers where available and work with content writers and designers to deliver quality campaigns. Communication: Serve as the main interface with clients and internal teams. Proactively communicate timelines, progress, roadblocks, and opportunities through channels like Slack and regular bi-weekly meetings. Reporting: Regular progress and impact reporting to clients on a defined cadence (bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly, and bi-annual business reviews). What You'll Bring
Proven SEO and content strategy experience: keyword research, on-page optimization, and link building. Analytical ability to analyze website traffic and SEO metrics using tools like Google Analytics. Strong communication skills with client-facing experience and stakeholder management. Familiarity with industry tools (Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMRush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog). Strong organizational, project, and time management skills. Genuine enthusiasm for digital marketing, SEO, and content. Agency experience required; B2B tech and/or SaaS experience preferred. Goals
NSM attainment: 100% MRR retention: 96% CSAT > 4.2 Upsells / Cross-sells / Referrals Strategists should regularly seek opportunities to grow clients’ business with Directive (e.g., expand to additional service lines or increase budgets) and request referrals at key moments. What We Offer
