Work as a liaison between stakeholders to elicit, analyze, verify, and validate requirements for changes to business processes, policies, and information systems. Duties may include: conducting general requirements elicitation activities; researching and documenting the current or as-is state of the business process or function; utilizing requirement elicitation techniques; participating in the implementation of system changes and enhancements; conducting system tests; training on new procedures and software; and conducting Gap analysis. Within the Division of Retirement Services, Bureau of Program Optimization Support and Transformation (POST), this position will participate in systems implementation, maintenance, and support; provide technical support and customer service; supervise and lead; promote business analysis and professional development; and maintain professional communication and demeanor. Minimum Qualifications

A bachelor’s or higher degree AND three years of business analysis experience where primary duty was performing three of the five following activities: using business analysis techniques to elicit requirements; using business analysis techniques for the purpose of identifying solutions; describing in a comprehensive written document what the system, process, or product service must do; validating requirements; or verifying requirements. A bachelor’s or higher degree AND possession of a Level 2 International Institute of Business Analysis/Certification of Capability in Business Analysis (IIBA/CCBA) Certification AND one year of business analysis experience. Possession of a Level 3 International Institute of Business Analysis/Certified Business Analysis Professional (IIBA/CBAP) Certification. Additional Comments

Preferred Qualifications/Knowledge, skills, and abilities: experience working with an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system; proficient in Microsoft Office applications; demonstrates passion for business analysis; experience using recognized business analysis elicitation techniques; and strong facilitation and organizational skills.
