This individual will lead a team of field sales specialists.
Three focused on government accounts and three on sales through distribution partnerships and will be accountable for developing and executing targeted commercial strategies, managing opportunity funnels, and expanding existing business.**You Will:*** Lead, coach, and develop a team of Government and Distribution Sales Specialists to exceed sales targets and drive strategic growth.* Build and manage a robust funnel of opportunities across government and distribution channels.* Develop and implement tailored commercial strategies using TAM data and Miller Heiman Blue Sheets.* Collaborate cross-functionally with AVPs, RVPs, Account Executives, and other internal stakeholders to ensure cohesive execution of sales plans.* Drive capital equipment and reagent sales across all diagnostic product lines, including Core Lab, Specialty Lab, Blood Gas, and Epoc.* Oversee regional distributor relationships and performance, including forecasting, funnel management, and strategic planning.* Serve as a senior liaison for key government accounts, including VA hospitals and federal/state health facilities.* Conduct regular business reviews with both government and distribution partners to assess performance and identify growth opportunities.* Ensure CRM and sales tools are accurately maintained and utilized across the team.* Represent the organization at national and regional sales meetings and industry events.**Your Expertise:*** Minimum of 7 years of sales experience in medical devices, preferably in capital equipment within laboratory diagnostics.* Proven success in selling through distributors and into government accounts (VISNs, DOD, VA).* Experience developing and executing strategic account plans using Miller Heiman methodologies.* Minimum of 3 years of people management experience with a track record of coaching and developing high-performing teams.* Strong business acumen, including financial analysis, market positioning, and competitive strategy.* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills across internal and external stakeholders.* Proficiency in CRM tools and data analytics platforms.* Bachelor’s degree in business, life sciences, or related field; advanced degree preferred.* Willingness to travel up to 70% nationally.This role is based in the USA.**This role is governed by our Fleet Safety Policy.
