Research Leads – Australian Research Centre for Cancer Survivorship

Join UNSW Sydney and Cancer Council NSW to advance cancer survivorship research. The role offers leadership across four major themes and the opportunity to shape national and international research strategy. Responsibilities

Lead research strategy across Person-Centred Care, Behaviour & Health, Survivorship Epidemiology, and Precision Survivorship. Secure competitive funding, build national and international partnerships, and mentor the next generation of researchers. Collaborate with survivors, clinicians, community, and policy stakeholders to design, evaluate, and implement evidence‑based interventions. Qualifications & Skills

A PhD in a related discipline and/or extensive research experience. Demonstrated leadership of research projects and teams, including high‑quality supervision of honours and postgraduate students. Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with the ability to influence across disciplines and institutions. Experience in building relationships and securing industry and community funding.
