Duties and Responsibilities Under the general direction of the Chief, Office of Project Development, Management & Delivery (OPDMD) in the Division of Local Assistance (DLA), the Staff Services Manager I supervises a team of analytical staff providing guidance on compliance of the programs and execution of all contracts and grants within DLA to ensure excellent customer service to managers, staff, supervisors and project managers.
The incumbent is responsible for:
Oversight of the DLA’s Delegation Program – contract/grant compliance.
Development and maintenance of signature authority, training materials and compliance reviews.
Providing assistance to DLA staff on contract procurement, administration and compliance.
Managing major policy documents related to Rail and Transit Programs and serving as the DLA liaison for other Caltrans divisions and external partners.
Minimum Requirements Applicants must meet the minimum qualifications listed in the class specification, including a Statement of Qualifications and a current resume.
Desired Qualifications Exceptional leadership, initiative, collaboration and communication skills are highly valued.
Work Conditions Position located at 1120 N Street, Sacramento. Telework options available. Business travel may be required.
