Compensation Overview Base salary range:
$91,800.00 - $151,600.00 . Performance‑based cash incentives are also available.
Location and Travel Fully remote; must reside or be willing to relocate to the Richmond, Norfolk, Virginia Beach, or Charlottesville area.
What Is the Opportunity Under general supervision, manage and develop a mid‑ to complex group of agency assignments. Optimize growth of core independent agents, prospect and appoint new agencies, meet year‑over‑year growth and profit objectives, and collaborate with regional and home office teams.
Responsibilities
Lead presentations and appointments for owned agents, applying agency diagnostics and segmentation.
Appoint new agents meeting production expectations and prospect for new business.
Identify opportunities to cross‑sell Travelers products and share information with other Sales Executives or agents.
Facilitate workshops, develop strategic marketing plans, and execute sales strategies to grow market share.
Provide consistent follow‑up and coaching, using a consultative sales framework.
Maintain process, account for agency diagnostics, and provide business solutions including 3R’s and operational recommendations.
Ensure data accuracy for strategic market changes and coordinate with trainers for system support.
What Will Our Ideal Candidate Have
5+ years of sales or insurance industry experience (preferred).
Bachelor’s degree (preferred).
Intermediate knowledge of agency diagnostics and ability to provide strategic sales and marketing insight.
Advanced influencing and advising skills; ability to coach agents and deliver results.
Advanced relationship management, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
Strong Microsoft Office proficiency, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Integrity and resilience, with a commitment to achieving outcomes.
Minimum Experience
Minimum of three years of professional and influential work experience.
