Senior Mechanical HVAC Engineer

Base pay range $123,600.00/yr - $162,300.00/yr
Responsibilities
Lead HVAC design for heavy industrial clients, including field investigations, interfacing with clients & vendors, sizing and selecting equipment, and preparing construction design packages.
Manage schedule and technical quality of challenging engineering tasks in a multi‑discipline, highly interactive team.
Develop conceptual and preliminary design documents, including calculations, Air Flow Diagrams (AFDs), Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), and general arrangements.
Produce final design documents, specifications, sequences of operation, duct/piping layout, and final construction documents for chilled water, cooling water, etc.
Coordinate with other disciplines.
Qualifications
Professional Engineering License.
At least ten (10) years’ experience in the design of HVAC systems for industrial facilities.
Thorough knowledge of codes and standards related to the design of HVAC systems.
Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Adaptability to work within a fast‑paced team environment with multiple deadlines.
Ability to lead a building mechanical team on a project and collaborate with other discipline team members remotely.
Software experience in Revit, Carrier HAP, Trane Trace 700, and Trane Trace 3D (ideally).
Experience in the design of plumbing/utility systems (ideally).
