Responsibilities include: Providing direction related to store operations, processes, and conditions. Planning, directing, and supervising daily store activities. Managing team member selection, training, development, and performance. Developing strategies to improve customer service, sales, and profitability. Ensuring customer needs are met and complaints are resolved efficiently. Merchandising products and displays to maximize sales. Forecasting staffing needs and developing recruiting strategies. Reflecting Meijer's brand and values in all actions. Additional duties: Assisting the Store Director in overall store management. Leading performance management activities. Attracting, selecting, and retaining a diverse and inclusive team. Communicating effectively with the team and community. Ensuring compliance with food safety standards. Engaging with local communities to support the Meijer brand. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Minimum 5+ years in retail, grocery, operations management, or customer service. 4+ years of progressive leadership experience. Passion for leadership and industry service. Strong merchandising knowledge and business acumen. Innovative mindset and commitment to inclusion.
