Professional level sales position supporting advanced functions on the commercial side of the business. Responsible for profitable growth through customer retention and acquisition. Partners with GM to manage team members. Requires expert knowledge of automotive systems and parts, sourcing from various channels including special orders, FDO, and second sources. Must direct drivers for timely and accurate delivery. Position is full-time. Primary Responsibilities
Maintain commercial customer relationships Provide GAS2 selling experience to commercial customers Achieve personal and store sales goals and service objectives Supervise daily activities of team members Collaborate with GM on coaching and development Dispatch drivers to ensure delivery standards Maintain commercial stocking programs Build and sustain a network of second-source suppliers Secondary Responsibilities
Maintain core bank and commercial returns Manage commercial credit accounts Partner with GM for driver coverage Success Factors
Friendly communication Parts locating and stocking skills Safety awareness Proficiency with inventory systems and store equipment Parts and automotive knowledge Operating POS and lookup systems ASE P2 certification or equivalent Advanced solution and product recommendation skills Ability to source from multiple channels Advanced sales skills for commercial clients Multitasking and organizational skills Essential Job Skills
Automotive systems knowledge and diagnostic skills English fluency; Spanish a plus Ability to interpret safety and operational documents Complete Parts Knowledge Assessment successfully Basic math proficiency Effective use of Microsoft Word and Excel Strong organizational skills Understanding of commercial profitability and market dynamics Flexible schedule including days, evenings, and weekends Prior Experience
Minimum 3 years in automotive parts preferred. Proven sales experience and team leadership background are advantageous. Education
High school diploma or GED required. Certificates and Licenses
ASE Certification preferred but not mandatory. Physical Demands
Must be able to walk, stand, lift up to 50 pounds regularly, and up to 100 pounds occasionally. Must have good vision and dexterity. Work Environment
Primarily indoors, with occasional outdoor work exposed to weather and mechanical hazards. Moderate noise level. Position eligible for sales commissions. Compensation range: $19.95 - $21.95 per hour. Additional Information
