We are seeking a
Professional level sales
position supporting advanced functions on the commercial side of the business. This role is responsible for profitable growth through customer retention and expansion. It involves partnering with the GM to manage team members and requires expert knowledge of automotive systems and parts. The ability to source from various channels including special orders, FDO, and second sources is essential. The role also includes directing drivers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries. This is a full-time position. Primary Responsibilities
Maintain and develop commercial customer relationships Provide GAS2 selling experience to commercial customers Achieve personal and store sales goals and service objectives Support day-to-day supervision of team members Collaborate with GM on coaching and development Dispatch drivers to meet delivery standards Maintain commercial stocking programs Build and sustain a network of second source suppliers Secondary Responsibilities
Maintain core bank and commercial returns Manage commercial credit accounts Partner with GM for driver coverage Success Factors
Friendly communication skills Parts sourcing and stocking ability Safety awareness and skills Proficiency with inventory systems and store equipment Parts and automotive system knowledge Operating POS and parts lookup systems ASE P2 certification or equivalent Advanced solution and project recommendation skills Multi-channel sourcing ability Advanced selling skills for commercial customers Organizational skills and multi-tasking ability Essential Job Skills
Knowledge of automotive systems and diagnostics Effective communication in English (Spanish a plus) Ability to interpret safety rules, manuals, and catalogs Complete Parts Knowledge Assessment successfully Basic math skills Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel Understanding of commercial profitability and market dynamics Flexibility to work days, evenings, and weekends Prior Experience
Minimum 3 years of automotive parts experience preferred, with proven sales ability and team leadership experience. Education
High school diploma or GED required. Certificates and Licenses
ASE Certification preferred but not required. Physical Demands & Work Environment
Primarily walking or standing, lifting up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally. Work may involve outdoor exposure, mechanical hazards, and varying weather conditions. Moderate noise level. Compensation & Benefits
