Job Description Professional level sales position capable of supporting advanced functions on the commercial side of the business. The position is responsible for profitable growth of the commercial business via customer retention and growth. It partners with the GM to manage Team Members and requires expert knowledge of automotive systems and parts. The role involves sourcing from various channels including special orders, FDO, second sources, etc., and directing drivers to ensure timely and accurate delivery. This is a full-time position.

Primary Responsibilities

Maintain commercial customer relationships

Provide GAS2 selling experience to commercial customers

Achieve personal and store sales goals and service objectives

Support daily supervision of Team Members

Collaborate with GM on coaching and development of Team Members

Dispatch drivers to meet delivery standards

Maintain commercial stocking programs

Build and maintain a network of second source suppliers

Secondary Responsibilities

Maintain core bank and commercial returns

Manage commercial credit accounts

Partner with GM to ensure proper driver coverage

ASE P2 certification or equivalent

Essential Job Skills

Knowledge of automotive systems and diagnostics

Effective communication in English (Spanish a plus)

Ability to interpret safety rules, manuals, parts catalogs, and procedures

Complete Parts Knowledge Assessment successfully

Basic math skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel

Strong organizational skills

Understanding of commercial profitability and market dynamics

Flexibility to work days, evenings, and weekends

Prior Experience Minimum of 3 years automotive parts experience preferred. Proven sales ability and experience leading teams are advantageous.

Education High school diploma or GED required.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations ASE Certification preferred but not required.

Physical Demands Must be able to walk, stand, lift up to 50 pounds regularly, and occasionally up to 100 pounds. Must have good vision and manual dexterity.

Work Environment Primarily inside, with occasional outside work exposed to weather and mechanical hazards. Moderate noise level.

Position eligible for sales commission based on performance.

Compensation Range $19.95 - $21.95 per hour.
