Beds: 6 LDRP, 3 triage, 11 GYN/PP rooms if needed Experience & Roles
Minimum Years of Experience: 2 years L&D experience; must have experience with Recovery/Postpartum/Newborn Will you accept a first-time traveler? Not preferred but will accept Labor Couplet Care Occasional GYN (hysterectomy, mastectomy) All per AWHONN staffing guidelines Licensure & Certifications
BLS, ACLS, EFM, NRP Skills & Department Support
Labor and delivery, mother/baby and nursery experience IV/VAT Team – not available 24/7; RNs will start PIVs Resource Nurse? Sometimes RT 24/7 MD or OB hospitalist in house almost 24/7 Anesthesia/CRNA team Technology & Equipment
EMR: EPIC IV Pump: Alaris Monitors: OBIX fetal monitoring Med dispensing: Omnicell Floating
May be asked to float and task on medical within region and scope of practice Will be required to float per region needs – within scope of practice Region 1
Cabarrus, University City, Stanly, Lake Norman, Central Division (CMC Main + Mercy + LCH) May float to any facility within region if needed Floating Details
If floating mid-shift, Traveler will be paid for time traveling between facilities (still on the clock) Other notes : Orientation, scheduling, holiday expectations, RTO, and schedule cycle are per regional guidelines; scrub color: Navy Blue; parking: Free Region Notes & Schedule
Orientation (facility and unit): NEO; 2 days departmental Scheduling: Weekend rotation every other; No call Holiday Expectations: Travelers will work 75% of holidays RTO: Can approve up to 6 days off; add time to end of contract if needed to meet contracted hours Schedule cycle: every 6 weeks Other notes: Parking and scrubs as noted Contact & Company
