Professional level sales position supporting advanced functions on the commercial side of the business. Responsible for profitable growth via customer retention and expansion. Partners with GM to manage Team Members. Requires expert knowledge of automotive systems and parts, sourcing from various channels including special orders, FDO, and second sources. Capable of directing drivers to ensure timely, accurate deliveries. Full-time position. Primary Responsibilities
Maintain commercial customer relationships Provide GAS2 selling experience to commercial customers Achieve personal and store sales goals Support Team Members daily and collaborate with GM on coaching and development Dispatch drivers for delivery standards Maintain commercial stocking programs Build and maintain a network of second source suppliers Secondary Responsibilities
Maintain core bank and commercial returns Manage commercial credit accounts Partner with GM for driver coverage Success Factors
Friendly communication Parts locating and stocking skills Safety awareness Inventory and store equipment operation Parts and automotive system knowledge Operating POS and lookup systems ASE P2 certification or equivalent Solution, project, and product recommendation skills Ability to source from multiple channels Advanced selling skills for commercial customers Multi-tasking and organizational skills Essential Skills
Automotive systems knowledge and diagnostic ability Effective communication in English (Spanish a plus) Ability to interpret manuals and safety documents Complete Parts Knowledge Assessment Basic math skills Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel Strong organizational skills Understanding of commercial profitability concepts Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends Experience & Education
Minimum 3 years automotive parts experience preferred. Proven sales ability and team leadership experience. High school diploma or GED required. ASE certification preferred but not mandatory. Physical & Work Environment
Primarily walking and standing, lifting up to 50-100 pounds, and operating in various environments including inside and outside conditions. Exposure to mechanical parts, chemicals, and noise. Reasonable accommodations available. Position may include sales commissions based on performance. Additional Information
