Professional level sales position supporting advanced functions on the commercial side of the business. Responsible for profitable growth via customer retention and acquisition. Partners with the GM to manage Team Members. Requires expert knowledge of automotive systems and parts, sourcing from various channels including special orders, FDO, and second sources. Must direct drivers for timely, accurate deliveries. This is a full-time position. Primary Responsibilities
Maintain commercial customer relationships Provide GAS2 selling experience to commercial customers Achieve personal and store sales goals and service objectives Supervise daily team operations Collaborate with GM on coaching and development Dispatch drivers to ensure delivery standards Manage commercial stocking programs Build and maintain a network of second source suppliers Secondary Responsibilities
Maintain core bank and commercial returns Manage commercial credit accounts Partner with GM for driver coverage Success Factors
Friendly communication Parts sourcing and stocking skills Safety knowledge Inventory and store equipment operation Parts and automotive system knowledge Operating POS and lookup systems ASE P2 certification or equivalent Solution and product recommendation skills Multi-tasking and organization Essential Job Skills
Automotive systems knowledge and diagnostic skills Effective communication in English (Spanish a plus) Ability to interpret manuals and write simple correspondence Complete Parts Knowledge Assessment Basic math skills Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel Strong organizational skills Understanding of commercial profitability concepts Flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends Prior Experience
Minimum 3 years in automotive parts sales; leadership experience preferred. Education
High school diploma or GED. Certificates and Licenses
ASE Certification preferred but not required. Physical Demands
Mostly walking and standing, ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently, up to 100 pounds occasionally, and perform physical tasks as described. Work Environment
Primarily indoor work, occasionally outside in various weather conditions. Exposure to mechanical parts, chemicals, electrical hazards, and noise. Position is eligible for sales commission based on performance. Compensation Range
$19.95 - $21.95 per hour. Benefits
