Professional level sales position supporting advanced functions on the commercial side of the business. Responsible for profitable growth via customer retention and growth. Partners with GM to manage Team Members. Requires expert knowledge of automotive systems and parts, sourcing from various channels including special orders, FDO, and second sources. Must direct drivers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries. This is a full-time position. Primary Responsibilities
Maintain commercial customer relationships Provide GAS2 selling experience to commercial customers Achieve personal and store sales goals and service objectives Support Team Members daily and collaborate with GM on coaching and development Dispatch drivers to meet delivery standards Maintain commercial stocking programs Build and maintain a network of second source suppliers Secondary Responsibilities
Maintain core bank and commercial returns Manage commercial credit accounts Partner with GM for driver coverage Success Factors
Friendly communication Parts location and stocking skills Safety knowledge Proficiency with inventory systems and store equipment Parts and automotive system knowledge Operating POS and parts lookup systems ASE P2 certification or equivalent Solution, project, and product recommendation skills Ability to source from multiple channels Advanced selling skills for commercial customers Multi-tasking and organizational skills Essential Skills
Automotive systems knowledge and diagnostic skills English communication skills; Spanish a plus Ability to interpret safety rules, manuals, and catalogs Complete Parts Knowledge Assessment successfully Basic math and Microsoft Office skills Strong organizational skills Understanding of commercial profitability concepts Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends Prior Experience
Minimum 3 years automotive parts experience preferred. Proven sales ability and team leadership experience are advantageous. Education
High school diploma or GED required. Certificates
ASE Certification preferred but not required. Physical Demands
Must be able to walk, stand, lift up to 50 pounds regularly, and up to 100 pounds occasionally. Visual and dexterity requirements apply. Work Environment
Primarily indoor work; occasional outdoor exposure to weather, mechanical parts, chemicals, and noise. Moderate noise level. Position is eligible for sales commissions based on performance. Compensation Range
$19.95 - $21.95 per hour. Benefits
