Working with minimal supervision, support the Store Manager in all facets of store operations. Develop and promote a sales culture by creating individualized and complete solutions for every guest and providing outstanding guest service experiences. Ensure products are easy to see and buy, build sales by sharing product and gaming knowledge, and maintain a clean, organized shopping environment. Supervise Sales Associates and Retail Keyholders in the absence of the Store Manager. Provide best-in-class guest service, greet guests, respond to questions/concerns promptly and courteously, inform guests of promotions, and encourage repeat business. Process guest purchases/returns using the POS system accurately and professionally. Respond to guest questions in person or by phone; escalate issues to the Store Manager when appropriate. Promote GameStop guest benefits (new title reservations, trade-in, Pro Rewards loyalty). Assist the Store Manager with setting guest service expectations and training store associates on policies and guidelines. Provide feedback and recognition to associates; document performance feedback in the HR system in partnership with the Store Manager. Ensure onboarding, training, and compliance for associates prior to opening or closing shifts; cover all job responsibilities and safety practices. Schedule associates to meet staffing needs and maintain optimal guest service; supervise and adjust staffing levels as required. Approve payroll, manage paid time off, and ensure accurate time records. Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and merchandising per company guidelines; ensure fixtures and equipment are in working order. Fulfill Omni-Channel orders and ensure daily shipment processing. Protect company assets through inventory control and loss prevention; monitor safety practices and report concerns to the Store Manager. Support the store team in meeting sales, profit, and shrink goals and complete required administrative duties. Conduct store inventory counts, stock/restock merchandise, and ensure products are represented and organized on the sales floor. Count, balance, and reconcile daily transactions in the POS system; complete closeout paperwork and prepare deposits as required. Verify shipments for discrepancies, conduct inventories, and report discrepancies to the Store Manager/District Manager. Process defectives/recalls and stock pulls accurately with proper labeling and packing lists. Maintain associate and guest safety and report injuries per company guidelines. Maintain store records/files; keep manuals up to date. Supervise and delegate tasks to Sales Associates and Retail Keyholders in the Store Manager’s absence. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including the Associate Handbook and Code of Standards, Ethics & Conduct. Adhere to opening and closing procedures. Qualifications

Must provide proof of identity and eligibility to work in the United States. Must be at least 18 years old. High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, merchandising, or related field preferred. At least 6 months of retail management experience preferred. At least 2 years of retail sales, guest service, and/or management experience preferred. Video game knowledge preferred. Key Job Skills and Abilities

Outgoing and welcoming personality with strong people skills. Provide genuine and individualized guest assistance during every visit. Clear verbal and written communication skills; bilingual English/Spanish preferred. Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment and work independently or as part of a team. Meet performance expectations, including attendance, safety, and respectful workplace. Operate POS system and perform basic mathematics and alphabetizing. Complete required paperwork and follow instructions in written, oral, or diagram form. Handle flexible scheduling, including nights, weekends, and some holidays; minimum availability to be 3 days/week. Stay reliable, trustworthy, and able to work under pressure; capable of working alone if needed. Physical ability to stand, move around the store for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs. Onboarding may include knowledge of military ranks/insignia for stores on military bases (where applicable). Job descriptions are subject to change based on business needs. Compensation and Benefits

Benefits: Full-time store positions are eligible for incentive programs, 401(k), paid time off, dental, vision, and health insurance. Additional bonuses or incentives may apply. Compensation: $10.75 - $14.75 per hour.
