Work with minimal supervision to support the Store Manager in all facets of store operations. Develop and promote a sales culture by creating individualized and complete solutions for guests and providing outstanding guest service experiences. Ensure products are easy to see and buy; build sales by sharing product and gaming knowledge with guests; maintain a clean, organized environment; grow guest loyalty and repeat business. Supervise Sales Associates and Retail Keyholders in the absence of the Store Manager. Provide best-in-class guest service: greet guests, respond to questions/concerns promptly and politely, inform guests of promotions, and thank guests for shopping at GameStop. Assist the Store Manager with setting guest service expectations and training store associates on company policies, procedures, and guidelines. Monitor associate performance, provide feedback, and address performance issues in collaboration with the Store Manager. Ensure onboarding and training are completed prior to opening/closing shifts; ensure knowledge of company/store policies, inventory control, loss prevention, safety, financial protocol, and ethics. Schedule store associates, manage breaks/meals, and supervise staffing to maintain high guest service levels. Approve payroll; enter paid time off and adjust time entries as needed. Maintain store cleanliness, organization, merchandising, and proper functioning of fixtures and equipment. Fulfill Omni-Channel orders and ensure daily shipments are completed. Protect company assets through inventory control and loss prevention; conduct safety checks and address concerns with the Store Manager. Meet and exceed sales, profit, and shrink goals and perform required administrative and operational duties. Perform inventory counts, restock merchandise, and ensure products are represented and alphabetized on the sales floor. Balance daily transactions in the POS system; complete closeout paperwork and bank deposits according to guidelines. Verify shipments for discrepancies, conduct inventories, and communicate discrepancies to the Store Manager/District Manager. Process defectives/recalls and stock pulls; label boxes and include packing lists. Ensure associate and guest safety; report injuries per company guidelines. Maintain store records/files and ensure manuals are up to date. Supervise and delegate tasks to Sales Associates and Retail Keyholders in the Store Manager’s absence. Adhere to GameStop policies and procedures and opening/closing procedures. Qualifications

Must provide proof of identity and eligibility to legally work in the United States. Must be at least 18 years old. High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree with emphasis in business, marketing, merchandising, or related field preferred. At least 6 months of retail management experience preferred. At least 2 years of retail sales, guest service, and/or management experience preferred. Video game knowledge preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team. Flexibility to work extended hours, including nights, weekends, and some holidays (minimum 3 days/week). Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for extended periods; ability to bend and reach as required. Key Job Skills and Abilities

Clear verbal and written communication; English proficiency; bilingual English/Spanish preferred. Ability to meet objectives in a fast-paced environment; work independently and in a team. Operate POS system; basic math and organizational skills; complete required paperwork. Flexible schedule availability, including nights, weekends, and some holidays. Problem-solving, reliability, and good judgment; able to work alone and move around the store as needed. Knowledge or willingness to learn about military ranks and insignia for stores located on military bases (where applicable).
