Job Summary
The University of Kentucky College of Nursing invites applicants to apply for a full‑time, 12‑month Clinical Title Series, tenure‑ineligible faculty position with the rank of Assistant Professor. This position will also serve as the Director of the Simulation and Learning Center.
Responsibilities
Assist in the baccalaureate program and the Clinical Simulation Learning Center.
Teach, advise, and mentor undergraduate BSN students.
Implement and evaluate didactic and clinical courses.
Plan, oversee, and guide clinical experiences and professional development of BSN students.
Provide clinical instruction in designated practice areas.
Engage in curriculum development, implementation, and evaluation.
Participate in scholarly activities related to clinical service, simulation, and education.
Collaborate with UK Healthcare and community clinical providers, administrators, and staff.
Qualifications
Earned DNP or PhD in nursing.
Minimum of 3 years BSN‑prepared professional nursing experience within the last 5 years.
Minimum of 1.5 years simulation experience.
Active, unencumbered Kentucky license as a registered nurse.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
Preferred Education & Experience
Experience advising and teaching adult students.
Demonstrated teaching or mentoring experience with baccalaureate nursing students preferred.
