Full Time Assistant Store Manager (Store 6950) at GameStop. The role supports the Store Manager in all facets of store operations and helps develop a sales culture through guest-focused service and product knowledge. Responsibilities

Provide best-in-class guest service: greet guests, respond to questions and concerns quickly and courteously, inform guests of promotions, recommend items, and circulate throughout the store to prioritize guests over tasks. Support the shopping environment, visual and operational elements, current sales initiatives, and guest relationships that lead to sales and repeat business. Process guest purchases/returns accurately using the POS system; ensure correct changes, receipts, and high-quality guest service. Address guest questions in person or by phone; escalate issues to the Store Manager when appropriate. Promote GameStop guest benefits (e.g., new title reservations, trade-in, Pro Rewards). Assist the Store Manager with setting guest service expectations and training store associates; oversee performance and provide feedback. Coordinate onboarding and training for new hires; ensure associates understand policies, inventory control, loss prevention, safety, and ethics. Assist in scheduling and supervising associates to maintain optimal guest service levels; manage payroll-related tasks and timekeeping as directed. Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and merchandise presentation per guidelines; supervise inventory, stock, and shelf presentation. Fulfill Omni-Channel orders daily; manage bank deposits and cash handling procedures. Protect assets through inventory control and loss prevention; communicate concerns to the Store Manager. Meet and exceed sales, profit, and shrink goals; complete required administrative duties. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures; follow opening and closing procedures. Qualifications

Must provide proof of identity and eligibility to work in the United States; at least 18 years old. High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or bachelor's degree in business, marketing, merchandising, or related field preferred. Retail management experience preferred (at least 6 months); retail sales/guest service/management experience preferred (at least 2 years). Video game knowledge preferred. Outgoing, welcoming personality with strong people skills; ability to provide genuine, individualized guest assistance. Effective verbal and written communication; English required; bilingual English/Spanish preferred. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, independently or as part of a team. Strong attendance, safety, and respectful workplace standards; capable of operating POS systems and basic math; able to manage schedules and flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays (minimum 3 days/week). Physical ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs; ability to climb ladders and perform light physical tasks as needed.
