Sales Associate III at Coach. Coach is a global fashion house; part of the Tapestry portfolio. The role supports store success by delivering Coach’s Service and Selling Models, creating a positive customer experience, and building lasting client relationships. Responsibilities
Provide brand-aligned service and selling behavior; create a personalized experience for customers and leave a positive, lasting impression. Understand organizational objectives and align decisions with Company priorities; own personal and store metrics and develop clienteling strategies with management. Create short- and long-term plans to achieve personal metrics and performance goals; improve based on personal survey results. Represent Coach as a brand ambassador and demonstrate Selling and Service expectations at all times. Support local sales strategies by understanding changes in the local market and executing tactics accordingly. Drive business through sales strategies, clienteling, sourcing new customers, and maintaining ongoing relationships. Maintain attire and appearance aligned with Coach’s Guide to Style; act as a fashion advisor with knowledge of competition and product features, benefits, and value. Provide in-depth product knowledge, communicate current pricing and promotions, and leverage cross-selling and add-ons relevant to customer needs. Tailor approach to customers’ needs, manage multiple customers simultaneously, and follow up to influence/close sales. Promote a team selling environment and foster teamwork, trust, and collaboration with internal and external customers. Remain adaptable to changing store needs, welcome feedback, and maintain a calm, professional demeanor. Operations
Complete daily tasks without impacting service or standards; maintain store, cash wrap, backroom, and visual merchandising to Coach standards. Maintain a clean selling floor, adhere to retail policies and procedures (POS, Operations, Asset Protection), replenish inventory, and support store inventory processes. Assist with cash-wrap as needed; process customer transactions (purchases, returns, exchanges) and help prepare the store by organizing functional areas. Maintain strong organizational standards and visual merchandising expectations. Qualifications
Experience: 1-3 years of previous sales experience, preferably in luxury retail; knowledge of fashion trends and competition. Education: High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred. Technical: Knowledge of POS systems, basic computer skills (iPad/laptop), walkie talkie use; ability to read price and product release sheets. Physical: Ability to work at a fast pace; ability to maneuver the sales floor, bend, kneel; frequently lift up to 25 pounds and up to 50 pounds for shipments/ transfers. Schedule: Ability to meet scheduling and availability expectations, including flexible hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.
