Position Summary

Drives sales in the Vision Center by ensuring effective merchandise presentation, including accurate and competitive pricing, proper signing, and maintaining in-stock inventory levels. Responsible for budgeting, forecasting sales, assessing economic trends, and community needs. Models, enforces, and provides guidance to Associates on customer service approaches to ensure customer needs and complaints are addressed within company standards. Oversees community outreach programs and encourages associates to serve as good community members. Ensures compliance with company and legal policies, procedures, and regulations by analyzing reports, implementing asset protection and safety controls, and monitoring operational and quality assurance reviews. Develops and implements action plans to improve performance, and guides the execution of company programs and strategic initiatives. Directs the Vision Center team to ensure confidentiality and proper record keeping. Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates through hiring, training, mentoring, and recognition. Ensures the provision of quality eyewear by consulting with and educating members/customers, selecting products based on their needs, obtaining measurements, verifying prescriptions, maintaining confidentiality, performing minor repairs, and maintaining optical equipment. Upholds the company's open-door policy by engaging with associates, listening to concerns, and researching issues. Coordinates and supports activities to meet customer and business needs, builds relationships with stakeholders, and promotes continuous learning. Ensures adherence to company policies and supports the company's mission, values, and ethical standards. The hourly wage range for this position is $25.00-$35.00, with actual pay depending on location and experience. Additional compensation may include bonuses and location-based pay zones. Minimum Qualifications

Completion of 2 or more years of college OR 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience OR 2 years of general work experience including 1 year in optical. High school diploma or equivalent. Eligibility to work as an optician or apprentice optician under applicable laws. Preferred Qualifications
