Position Summary
License Dispensing Optician License Required What you'll do
Drives sales in the Vision Center by ensuring effective merchandise presentation, including accurate and competitive pricing, proper signing, and in-stock inventory levels. Manages budgeting, forecasting sales, and assessing economic trends and community needs. Models, enforces, and provides guidance to Associates on customer/member service approaches to ensure needs and issues are resolved within company standards. Oversees community outreach programs and encourages associates to serve as good community members. Ensures compliance with company and legal policies, procedures, and regulations by analyzing reports, monitoring asset protection, safety controls, and quality assurance. Develops and implements performance improvement plans, provides direction on company programs, and manages confidentiality of information. Supervises and develops associates through hiring, training, mentoring, and recognition, fostering a workplace of belonging. Ensures the provision of quality eyewear through consultation, education, measurements, verification, minor repairs, and equipment maintenance. Upholds the company's open-door policy by engaging with associates, addressing concerns, and reviewing policies. Coordinates and oversees job-related activities, building relationships with stakeholders, supporting initiatives, and promoting accountability and continuous learning. Ensures compliance with policies, supports company values, and promotes a culture of respect, integrity, and service excellence. Builds high-performing teams, attracts and retains talent, and acts with integrity. Focuses on delivering results, making data-driven decisions, and embracing continuous improvement and innovation. The hourly wage range is $34.50-$46.00, with additional bonuses and location-based pay zones. Minimum Qualifications
Completion of 2+ years of college OR 1 year retail and supervisory experience OR 2 years general work experience including 1 year optical experience. High school diploma or equivalent. Current eligibility to work as an optician or apprentice optician under applicable laws. Preferred Qualifications
