Assistant Store Manager

Compensation: $16.50 - $24.50 per hour, plus potential performance primes and other benefits.

Responsibilities
Lead store team members in delivering excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
Supervise customer service programs in the retail showroom (e.g., Related Sales, Hi5, Rock the Call).
Ensure adequate staffing of the retail sales counter, especially during peak hours.
Assist the Store Manager with goal setting, coaching, and training of team members.
Participate in hiring activities, including interviews, evaluations, and selection of qualified team members.
Answer customer telephone lines according to company policy.
Process online, hub, and store-to-store orders and coordinate customer shipment notifications.
Maintain electronic purchase order ledger for special and outside orders.
Handle returns, exchanges, refunds, and correct merchandise staging.
Invoice merchandise, ensuring core charges and warranties are applied before the product leaves the store.
Communicate Zipline messages and coordinate image‑maker and merchandising tasks.
Enforce company policies and attendance/clock‑in requirements.
Perform opening and closing procedures, secure money and deposits, lock and secure building, and manage security alarms.
Assist in maintaining store building, parking lot, exterior signage, lighting, hardware, in‑store equipment, and delivery vehicles.
Complete all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Sales Specialist Training.
Assistant Manager Certification.
RSS Certification.
Desired: Certified Parts Professional Certification.
Desired: ASE Certification.
Fluency in Spanish (highly desired).
