What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Manage and develop a mid and moderately complex group of agency assignments, optimizing growth potential
Prospect and appoint new agencies while exceeding year-over-year growth and profit objectives
Identify opportunities to cross-sell products and collaborate with team members on agency management decisions
Complete strategic marketing plans to identify opportunities and challenges within assigned territory
Provide support and training to agents on Travelers' products and services, ensuring effective use of computer systems
What is Required (Qualifications)
Minimum of three years of professional and influential work experience
Five years of sales or insurance industry experience preferred
Intermediate knowledge of agency diagnostics and ability to assess agency operations
Advanced relationship management and communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Bachelor's Degree preferred
Advanced ability to influence sales and convince agents to promote products
Demonstrated resilience and problem-solving skills
Ability to deliver professional presentations effectively
Intermediate technical skills with a quick learning ability for new systems and applications
