About the Role

The Company is seeking two inaugural Associate Chief Nursing Officers (ACNOs) to join their executive leadership team. The successful candidates will be responsible for overseeing nursing operations across a large quaternary health system, with a focus on ensuring the highest standards of clinical quality, safety, and patient-centered care. This pivotal role involves strategic and operational leadership, driving nursing excellence in alignment with the company's mission, and leading nursing quality and safety initiatives to meet regulatory standards. The ACNOs will also be instrumental in fostering a culture of belonging, inclusion, and professional growth, and will represent nursing leadership in hospital-wide committees and advocacy efforts, particularly those focused on health equity and underserved communities.

Applicants for the ACNO positions at the company must have a Master’s degree in Nursing or Hospital Administration, with a Doctorate preferred, and an active RN license in Georgia or eligibility to obtain one. A minimum of seven years of progressive nursing leadership experience in healthcare is required, with a preference for those who have worked in an urban safety-net hospital or large health system. Expertise in nursing excellence programs such as Pathway to Excellence or Magnet is also preferred, along with certifications like NEA-BC or CENP. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in nursing workforce development and engagement, and be prepared to support the Chief Nursing Executive in driving quality, safety, patient experience, and employee engagement.
