Medication Administration : Provide high-quality care by administering medications and treatments safely; review and document in the electronic health record; receive updates from RCD or Wellness Nurse; ensure medications are passed on time using the Six Rights of Medication Pass; maintain medication carts and the Medication Room; document refusals or missed doses; restock supplies; assess and document as-needed medications; count narcotics with a fellow MCM/LCM and report discrepancies; promote resident independence and safety. Resident Care Communications : Notify RCD of resident/family concerns; participate in daily Cross Over meetings; contribute to development of Individualized Service Plans (ISP). Risk Management and General Safety : Ensure compliance with regulations and safety programs; use PPE, SDS, fire safety procedures; report accidents/incidents and unsafe conditions; manage hazards and infection control; safely store oxygen tanks and monitor prescribed levels. Training and Team Contribution : Collaborate with the team to meet goals; demonstrate Sunrise Principles of Service; engage in engagement programs and trainings; attend regular meetings and trainings; maintain required training compliance. Core Competencies : Make resident-centered decisions; stay calm under pressure; manage multiple priorities; communicate effectively; exhibit good judgment and problem solving. Experience and Qualifications : High School diploma/GED; relevant certifications ( CPR and First Aid as required by regulations); minimum age 18; prior experience with seniors preferred; willingness to drive Sunrise vehicles if applicable.
