Lead and develop a pharmacy team that provides exceptional patient care by promoting best practices and leading through change. Track and improve pharmacy performance through coaching and follow-up with team members. Ensure safe and accurate prescription fulfillment by following and guiding adherence to pharmacy workflow procedures and safety guardrails at every workstation. Deliver positive patient experiences by demonstrating empathy, collaborating with the patient\'s healthcare team, and proactively resolving insurance and/or medication issues. Offer and deliver immunizations; identify, engage, and support Pharmacy Technicians to learn immunization techniques. Manage pharmacy inventory with a focus on protecting cold chain products; follow inventory best practices and coach the team accordingly. Conduct onboarding for new Technicians and Pharmacists, including training on CVS workflow; ensure timely completion of required training and licensure. Ensure operations comply with state Board of Pharmacy regulations; escalate issues as needed. Partner with the Store Manager to maintain a healthy talent pipeline and ensure cross-trained colleagues progress on licensure. Oversee Staff Pharmacists and District Support Pharmacists (where applicable); manage performance and conduct annual reviews to close gaps. Maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging team dynamic; manage pharmacy schedules as needed. Review business reporting to develop action plans for gaps in workflow, service, patient care, and compliance. Establish a culture of safety, empowerment, and inclusion; foster psychological safety and act on feedback. Maintain clinical and technical skills; participate in required trainings and Continued Medical Education (CMEs). Support access to care and improve patient outcomes through pharmacist-delivered clinical care (e.g., testing and prescribing services where permissible). Understand and comply with all applicable laws, regulations, standards, and CVS policies; ensure patient privacy and a safe, inclusive workplace. Required Qualifications

Active Pharmacist License in the state where the store is located Active National Provider Identifier (NPI) Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list 1-2 years of experience as a Pharmacist Essential Functions

Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe Attention and Focus: concentration on tasks with the ability to pivot between tasks to meet patient and business needs Customer Service and Team Orientation: proactively help people in a friendly manner and respond to patient reactions appropriately Communication Skills: clear verbal and written communication; active listening Mathematical Reasoning: calculate day\'s supply, dosage, and quantities for prescriptions Problem Resolution: address challenging interactions with sound judgment Physical Demands: stay mobile, lift and move items, reach overhead, and perform repetitive finger work; visual acuity for reading and computer tasks; ability to lift up to 20 lbs occasionally Team Management and Leadership: lead by example, delegate tasks, coach, provide feedback, and foster a collaborative environment Preferred Qualifications

Completion of the CVS Pharmacy Manager Emerging Leader (PM-EL) program 3-5 years of related experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting Ability to work in the home store and across markets as needed Anticipated Weekly Hours

Full time Pay Range

The Typical Pay Range For This Role Is $65.00 - $82.00 per hour This pay range represents base pay for positions at the job grade; final offer depends on factors including experience and geography. Eligible for CVS Health bonus or incentive programs in addition to base pay.
