Will consider Staff Service Analyst. Under the direction of a Staff Services Manager I, the Associate Governmental Program Analyst (AGPA) serves as the Damage Recovery Coordinator. The AGPA provides technical expertise in a variety of administrative areas in the Maintenance Support Branch; is responsible for coordinating, processing, and reviewing damage reports and keeping an accurate account of claims validated in the District, and telecommunication management. The AGPA is also responsible for the entire investigation and evaluation of damage reports arising in the District and provides support to Supervisors and Managers. PARF# 11-6-166 / JC-496534. Eligibility for hire may be determined by your score on the ASSOCIATE GOVERNMENTAL PROGRAM ANALYST exam. This is a Limited Term position which may be extended to 24 months or become permanent. While at their base of operation, works in a climate-controlled office under artificial light. Required to travel on occasion, and work outdoors, and may be exposed to traffic, dirt, noise, uneven terrain, and deal with extreme heat or cold weather. Possession of a valid driver’s license is required to operate a state-owned or leased vehicle. Minimum Requirements

Provide examples of your experience developing reports using financial data, gathering data, analyzing technical information, and performing various accounting, administrative, and budget-related tasks. Include your experience in making financial projections and offering recommendations, reasoning logically and creatively to resolve complex problems, exercising a high degree of initiative, and independently, and developing and evaluating alternatives and/or solutions to management. Provide examples of your experience working in a lead capacity, directing, training, and reviewing the work of others. Provide examples of your experience reviewing, screening, arranging, and preparing clear and comprehensive documents using proper grammar, subject-verb agreement, sentence and paragraph structure, transitions between paragraphs, and word usage (i.e. reports, memorandums, and correspondence). Provide examples of your experience working with external and internal customers, including consultants, vendors, and business owners, organizing meetings, and taking minute notes.
