Organizational Location: This position is located in the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, within Fraud Detection and National Security Directorate locations and are assigned based on the need of the agency. The responsibilities described are for the full performance level. At developmental grade levels, assignments will be of more limited scope performed with less independence, and limited complexity. Plan and/or conduct special studies. Develop, implement, and/or monitor management information systems. Analyze and interpret policy and regulatory decisions to develop program plans. Prepare and/or provide briefings and presentations on analytical findings and recommendations. Represent the organization at internal and external meetings. Qualifications
The qualifications for this position must be met by 11:59 PM (Eastern Time) on 11/12/2025. GS-12 : One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-11 level. Duties include conducting studies, analyzing findings and making recommendations on program operations; conducting detailed analyses of complex functions and work processes; supporting the development and evaluation of policies. GS-13 : One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-12 level. Duties include directing development of evaluation plans, procedures and methodologies; participating in special studies; using analytical techniques and statistics; advising management and recommending solutions. GS-14 : One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-13 level. Duties include overseeing the development of evaluation plans, conducting large-scale studies, overseeing reporting and data analysis for performance metrics; analyzing proposed changes; researching and improving business practices; advising management.
