Summary:
This role is part of a desktop support team responsible for maintaining and supporting a large‑scale computer and network infrastructure across Wisconsin. The position is based in Madison and involves regular travel to various locations statewide to provide hands‑on technical assistance.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and support enterprise software and hardware systems.
Install, configure, and troubleshoot computers and related equipment at multiple office locations.
Deliver responsive and professional technical support to end users.
Perform on‑site service calls to resolve hardware and software issues.
Respond promptly to unexpected events such as system outages or emergencies.
Travel Requirements A minimum of 50% travel across Wisconsin is required, including potential overnight stays.
Top Required Skills & Years of Experience
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an enterprise IT environment.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience installing, configuring, repairing, and maintaining computer hardware.
Nice to Have Skills
Knowledge of computer networking principals.
Knowledge of digital audio recording equipment.
Physical Demands This role involves significant physical activity, including lifting (up to 75 lbs), standing, walking, and handling equipment. Occasional climbing, kneeling, and crawling may be necessary.
Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Madison, WI.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $26.00/hr.
