is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive
Mass Tort Legal Assistant
to support its litigation team. This
permanent, full-time
role offers a
hybrid work model , combining remote flexibility with in-office collaboration. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting attorneys in high-volume mass tort litigation and managing complex case files.
Responsibilities
Assist attorneys with case management, including intake, discovery, and trial preparation.
Draft and format legal documents such as complaints, motions, and correspondence.
Maintain and organize large volumes of case files and client records.
Coordinate with clients, co-counsel, and court personnel regarding case updates and deadlines.
Handle e-filing in state and federal courts.
Track deadlines, hearings, and deposition schedules across multiple jurisdictions.
Support attorneys with document review and production.
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of experience as a legal assistant in mass tort or complex litigation.
Familiarity with multidistrict litigation (MDL) procedures and case management systems.
Proficiency in legal software (e.g., Relativity, CaseMap, TrialDirector) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
High school diploma required; associate degree or legal assistant certificate preferred.
