Position Summary Join Sam’s Club as a Service Advisor in the Technical Service department. Your role focuses on delivering safe, efficient customer service while supporting automotive retail operations.
Responsibilities
Be a Team Member: collaborate with associates to fulfill sales and service requests, mentor new technicians, and develop interpersonal skills.
Be an Expert: demonstrate knowledge of safety and compliance protocols, tire and battery industry guidelines, service standards, TPMS, and POS systems.
Be a Techie: leverage digital tools and handheld technology to drive sales, improve the service experience, manage safety alerts, and maintain product knowledge.
Be an Owner: communicate equipment and supply needs, track returns and special orders, process transactions, maintain inventory accuracy, and adhere to safety standards.
Be a Talent Ambassador: act as a brand advocate, model high‑quality service, inspire teammates, and support inclusive teamwork.
Maintain company policies & ethics through the Open Door Policy and other compliance measures.
Communicate priorities, set expectations, identify improvement opportunities, and adapt to change.
Show respect for diversity, build trusting relationships, mentor others, and foster a culture of belonging.
Act with integrity, maintain accountability, and support Walmart’s regenerative mission.
Serve customers and members first, make data‑driven decisions, and balance short‑ and long‑term priorities.
Strive for excellence, drive continuous improvement, embrace new technologies, and support others through change.
Minimum Qualifications
Valid state‑issued driver’s license
18 years of age or older
Preferred Qualifications
Auto service industry experience
Retail experience
