We are partnering with organizations in Montague that are seeking Metrology Technicians. Perform routine calibration and verification of measurement tools and equipment. Conduct precise dimensional inspections using CMMs, optical comparators, and various hand tools. Create, validate, and execute measurement programs for automated inspection systems. Maintain detailed calibration records, equipment logs, and measurement data. Troubleshoot and resolve measurement discrepancies or equipment malfunctions. Provide technical support and training to manufacturing personnel on measurement techniques. Assist in the development and improvement of metrology processes and procedures. Recommended Qualifications

Associate's degree in Metrology, Engineering Technology, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T). Demonstrated experience using a variety of precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, height gauges). Hands‑on experience operating and/or programming Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) or other advanced metrology equipment (e.g., optical comparators). Strong understanding of calibration principles, measurement uncertainty, and maintaining measurement accuracy. Bonus Qualifications

Experience with advanced CMM programming languages or offline programming software. Proficiency in statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP) for process capability studies and SPC. Familiarity with ISO/IEC 17025 requirements and calibration lab accreditation processes. Strong aptitude for interpreting and applying advanced Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) principles.
