What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Manage complex projects and provide technical review and project management support
Prepare major proposals and contracts, and complex engineering reports
Interface with federal and state regulatory authorities on complex projects
Develop and maintain internal and external client relationships
Lead, mentor, and manage technical staff while overseeing project teams
What is Required (Qualifications):
Bachelor’s Degree in civil or geotechnical engineering or closely related field; MS or PhD desirable
Minimum 15 years of geotechnical engineering experience within professional consulting services
Valid Driver’s License and PE Certification required
Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and problem‑solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Reputation as a technical leader in the industry, regionally or nationally
Experience managing client relationships and developing new business
Ability to qualify professional opinions and mentor less experienced engineers
Highly organized with the ability to prioritize work effectively
