What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Manage highly complex projects and provide technical review and project management support for clients
Prepare major proposals, contracts, and complex engineering reports with practical geotechnical solutions
Interface with regulatory authorities and oversee client contracting with corporate legal support
Develop and maintain relationships with clients through effective communication and face-to-face meetings
Lead, mentor, and manage technical staff while ensuring adherence to safety policies and practices
What is Required (Qualifications)
Bachelor’s Degree in civil or geotechnical engineering or a closely related field; MS or PhD desirable
Minimum 15 years of geotechnical engineering experience in professional consulting services
Valid Driver’s License and PE Certification required
Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members

Reputation as a technical leader in the industry, regionally or nationally
Experience in managing client relationships and developing new business
Ability to influence others and mentor less experienced engineers
Highly organized with the capability to manage multiple priorities
