What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Manage complex projects and provide technical review and project management support
Prepare major proposals and contracts, ensuring adherence to engineering standards
Develop and deliver client presentations to cultivate relationships and assist with marketing strategies
Oversee client contracting and maintain internal and external client relationships
Lead and mentor technical staff while managing project teams effectively
What is Required (Qualifications)
Bachelor’s Degree in civil or geotechnical engineering or a closely related field; MS or PhD desirable
Minimum 15 years of geotechnical engineering experience within professional consulting services
Valid Driver’s License and PE Certification required
Strong leadership skills and ability to influence and develop direct reports
Excellent problem‑solving, written, and verbal communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Established reputation as a technical leader in the industry regionally or nationally
Experience in managing client relationships and developing new business opportunities
Proficiency in creating and maintaining project budgets
Ability to interpret complex technical instructions and regulations
Experience in mentoring less experienced engineers
