What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Lead and manage a 5‑person Commercial AMER sales team to execute territory plans and meet software bookings and revenue goals
Drive sales strategy and deal execution across existing and new Commercial customers
Analyze market dynamics and customer needs to refine territory design and go‑to‑market strategies
Prepare and communicate accurate forecasts and territory management plans
Recruit, hire, and onboard Commercial sales talent while collaborating with various departments
What is Required (Qualifications)
Demonstrated progression in field sales, operations, and leadership within an open‑source software, DevOps, or similar software/SaaS environment
Experience leading high‑performing commercial sales teams, including hiring and coaching
Proficiency in managing a sales pipeline and forecast using tools such as Salesforce, Clari, or Marketo
Strong ability to analyze market dynamics and competitive offerings
Excellent communication and executive presentation skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Experience working with commercial and Fortune 500 clients
Familiarity with competitive products and trends in DevSecOps and open‑source software
Previous experience in a fast‑paced, results‑focused environment
