Monday to Friday from 9:30 am to 6:00 pm Compensation:
$27 - $30/hr DOE Role Summary:
As one of Tia’s Medical Assistants you perform routine administrative and clinical tasks to keep the clinic running smoothly. Core functions include rooming patients, collecting patient health information, messaging with patients, preparing examination rooms, and collecting and preparing blood and other samples. Responsibilities
Ask why and probe deeply to understand the reason for the patient's visit. Ask background questions and leave notes for providers. Review health summaries with patients and ensure information is accurate. Take patient vitals and record them. Close the loop and ensure all follow-ups are handled per clinical process and in a timely manner. Confirm patients' current pharmacy preference and update in TiaMD and DrChrono. Order labs and imaging; ensure all Dx codes are added to orders. Act as a team member with MAs, front of house staff, and NPs/MDs to manage clinic flow and “air traffic.” Move patients from front of house to back of house and brief providers on schedule status. Review the next day's health records and brief providers accordingly; communicate patient nuances to the care team as appropriate. Perform phlebotomy in accordance with clinical guidelines when needed. Maintain a clean, organized clinic environment.

Highly organized with strong multitasking ability Detail-oriented with a calm, steady approach under pressure Strong process orientation Experience with autoclaving and disinfection, supply management, and supply expiry review
